MyCharge PowerGame is one of the easiest charging packs I’ve encountered, and it costs less than $50 anywhere Switch-specific charging packs are sold.
You can charge your Nintendo Switch using an external battery pack, but it’s not as convenient to have a cord hanging from the bottom of the system, especially if you want to raise the Switch up and play with friends while using several controllers.
There is currently no information available regarding the UK or Australian ratings, but I will add it as soon as it is.
It has a built-in stand that takes the place of the switch stand and is attached to the back of the switch. The PowerGame, which is powered by a 7,000mAh battery, “will extend your recreation by up to 10 hours,” according to MyCharge.
You can undoubtedly find external battery packs that cost less and offer a lot of power in terms of pure charging value. The PowerGame might be a really simple product that does what it’s supposed to accomplish without getting in your way. No matter how forcefully you try to shake the Nintendo Switch after the PowerGame is attached, it remains firmly in place. Yes, the console adds a teeny amount of weight with this 0.4 lb. power bank. I didn’t want any noticeable amount of additional fatigue during semi-permanent play, though.
Due to the fact that it extends straight from the center of this console and battery jazz band, the stand on the back is also fairly sturdy. He even felt more powerful than the Nintendo Switch console’s built-in external stand. At a high level, powergame will even charge the Nintendo Switch while it is linked to it.
Performance-wise, the PowerGame completed the task. After all, the myCharge claim of up to ten hours of nonstop play is preoccupied with the sport you are now playing. The faster the battery drains, the more resource-intensive the game is. So, during our six-hour flight from New York City to Las Vegas for CES 2019, I decided to play Super Smash Brothers Final for our drainage/lifespan examination.
I practically immediately began playing nonstop without the MyCharge PowerGame connected as soon as I put my Sabbatum down. I ended a battle and loaded the MyCharge PowerGame onto the Nintendo Switch when the console protested that there wasn’t 100% of the battery left. I persisted in playing until the PowerGame’s LEDs all went out, indicating that the battery was completely depleted.
This occurred when the Nintendo Switch’s battery had been fully charged after five hours of nonstop play. That left roughly 2 hours of playing time, primarily for the Super Smash Brothers championship.
Even if it’s not 10 hours, playing a severely draining game nonstop for seven hours is still quite commendable. The Nintendo Switch’s time period will be more than doubled by the PowerGame. Additionally, it is tidy, small, and aesthetically complementary to the console, making it an excellent travel companion for any serious on-the-go gamer.
The MyCharge PowerGame, a useful device for anyone looking to enhance their play time outside of the home, simply escaped my notice as a negative. The PowerGame is an easy purchase for any devoted Nintendo Switch player at $39.99.
